Shipment Manager

The Shipment Manager app lets your workflows create, update, find, and react to shipment events. Use these nodes to automate logistics coordination.

Starts the workflow when a new shipment is created in Glacis.

When to use it: Sending booking confirmations, notifying the logistics team, requesting shipping documents from the forwarder.

Shipment Updated (Trigger)

Starts the workflow when a shipment record is modified.

When to use it: Detecting delivery date changes, monitoring status updates, alerting the team when key fields change.

Customs Port Arrival (Trigger)

Starts the workflow when a customs or port arrival event is detected for a shipment.

When to use it: Triggering customs clearance workflows, notifying the warehouse team of incoming goods, starting document verification.

Create Shipment (Action)

Creates a new shipment record in Glacis.

When to use it: Automatically creating shipment records when orders are confirmed or when shipping details arrive via email.

Update Shipment (Action)

Modifies an existing shipment — dates, carrier, tracking numbers, or other fields.

When to use it: Keeping shipment records current as new information arrives from carriers or forwarders.

Find Shipment (Action)

Searches for shipments matching specific criteria.

When to use it: Looking up a shipment by booking number, linking an incoming email to the right shipment, checking for duplicates.

Create Shipment Change Request (Action)

Creates a formal change request on an existing shipment for review before the change is applied.

When to use it: When shipment changes need approval — for example, a carrier proposing a route change or a date shift.
